Home Inspection Frequently Asked Questions

We are happy and proudly serving customer in the entire Piedmont Triad of NC. 

We inspect a wide range of properties, including single-family homes, townhouses, condos, and manufactured homes. 

While it is not required, we highly recommend that you be present during the home inspection. This allows us to explain our findings in person and answer any questions you may have. You are welcome to be there if you're able whether you are there the whole time, or only come towards the end. If you're not able to attend the inspection, we will do our best to make sure we able to review your report with you over the phone and answer all of your questions. 

Each inspection is different depending on the home. In general, the inspection can take about 3 hours to complete. 

We accept online payments through QuickBooks using credit cards. We also accept cash or check if you are meeting the inspector at the inspection.

The NC home inspection includes the entire home, inside and outside. The report includes the current condition of the materials of the home, and the current condition and operability of all the home's systems, for example the HVAC unit, water heater, etc. Some of the systems included in the inspection are:

While some safety regulations as set by NC for residential properties are based on codes, a home inspection is a safety inspection only. We are here to help our clients understand the safety and condition of their home according to NC standards. Home inspections are not the same as code inspections, and home inspectors are not able to write citations or enforce building codes. 

We do not share client reports with anyone the client has not given us express permission to share it with. 

We provide next day reports that we will send to your preferred email. 

We are always happy to answer any questions out clients have about their report. Our inspector is available by phone or email to answer questions after you have had the chance to look at your home inspection report.
